The travel sphere is one of continual change and shifting sand. I’ve never minded change. I went to school all prior to the age of the Internet. I never touched a computer until I was 30 years old. But I use it now every day.
I don’t want to be nostalgic about “the good old days”. Vinyl records, fax machines, laser discs, 8-track cassette tapes… that’s all fine and good, but I like the technological advances too.
One “scary” advance in travel is the use of AI. There is a lot of chatter about how artificial intelligence will replace the roles of companies like ours and how we will be as obselete as a jukebox in a diner.
I don’t really think so. AI is great as it saves us a huge amount of time sifting through pages and pages of websites. The search capacity is huge, and the organizational skills are also very valuable.
But the human level of service and support is still yet needed. We are your “boots on the ground” if there is a need for a change of plans, or if anything sudden comes up. We add a human element by alleviating stress and are right with you if there is any urgent manner.
Our team is also the window and guide for you into Japanese culture and experiences – and the treasure of travel is so often the great people we meet along the way.
We are very much looking forward to meeting you and your people when you bring your incentive group to Japan. Just give us a call!
